Eurhythmics - Originated by composer and music teacher Emile Jacques Dalcroze around 1900, eurhythmics is a system for learning musical rhythms through body movements. The Dalcroze Institute in Geneva, Switzerland is the foremost training institution for eurhythmics but this method is widely taught to music and dance students throughout the world. Madeleine Boss Lasserre was Nancy's eurhythmics teacher and was instrumental in bringing this study method to Toronto.
