Toronto Dance Theatre was founded in 1968 by Patricia Beatty, David Earle and Peter Randazzo. The company is a major fixture in Canadian modern dance history; its founders, along with current Artistic Director Christopher House, have contributed significantly to the Canadian modern dance canon and its affiliated school has trained generations of modern dancers.
