Nancy Lima Dent presented four short works and then a longer piece titled The Land. Inspired by Canadian and European folk songs, The Land is divided into five parts: "Land of the Silver Birch", "Golden Corn", "Black Fly", "She's Like A Swallow" and "This Land is Our Land". During the festival "She's Like A Swallow" had to be omitted from the performance. It was a solo that Nancy had set on herself, however, the director of the festival, Rolf Kalman, who was also operating the lighting board did not turn up for the performances and Nancy had to run the lights for the shows.
