• Initiated and recorded reconstructions of Canadian choreographies from the 1940s & 1950s
• Founded the country's first archives dedicated to Canadian theatrical dance
• Recorded & collected over 800 hours of oral histories
• Published Canada's first bilingual dance encyclopedia
• Discovered hundreds of dance artists working in Canada prior to 1950
• Compiled the Canadian Dance Performance Database
• Published over 40 books … and continues …
• Maintains over 500 portfolios on companies, dance artists & related individuals
• Promotes public awareness of the importance for dance preservation
• Encourages and supports numerous emerging and established dance writers
• Designs and distributes dance materials for public education
• Hosts dance history workshops in public and professional schools
• Publishes a semi-annual magazine
